How we safeguard client confidentiality

Data Bot Box defines confidentiality to mean that no information regarding a client shall be given directly or indirectly to anyone outside the organization, without the client's prior expressed consent to disclose such information.  This consent should be provided, preferably, in writing.

Avoiding Conflict of Interest

Definition of Conflict of Interest

A conflict of interest is a situation that arises when an individual is faced with making a decision of doing some act that will benefit the individual or another person or organization to which the individual owes a duty of loyalty and at the same time will harm another person or organization to which the individual owes a similar duty of loyalty.

how we manage conflict of interests

The only way we can resolve conflicting duties is to disclose the conflict to those affected and allow them to make the decision about how to proceed.  We do our best to avoid being in any situation that would present a conflict of interest, and so from time-to-time we are unable to accept a client project.  If that is the case, we can often make a referral.
